Everything you see on our Harwell Village site has been created by the people of Harwell from Harwell Parish in Oxfordshire. We write the gossip and we are the gossip.
Why are we here?
Some say that "The corruption in our self elected Parish Council stinks" others think "this is the worst case of self electing Cronyism". We tend to agree. Harwell does seem to have the worst Parish Council on the earth. Harwell Parish Council is an unelected body.

The angry vibes continued from our villagers... "Don't worry it will only be a few years before the old dears pop off". Well don't worry this site can be their legacy, their infamy and our gossip.
Many of the villagers are too quiet because of the threat of reprisals (planning permission denied, etc).
Since Hugh our editor passed away there has been little interest by our group for continued additions to the blog (just seems wrong some how). But we will keep this site live so that future generations will read about June Blissett, Stewart Lilly, Anne Fisher, Jim Mulford, Don Hayter and crew.
